This is a very good RTLSDR, its temperature stability makes it possible to trim the frequency on lets say 10 MHz at WWV and then find that this adjustment works for all bands. Furthermore it works on HF shortwave with its own built in upconverter but happens to be one the smaller RTLSDRs that have HF built in. Hence this is more advanced that the RTLSDR hardware we have seen in the past few years. And it is cheaper also. You will appreciate this product.

Dannie Yesyou can use HDSDR or SDRradio, as well as SDRuno, look them up on the net, all are freeware and work with the RTLSDR just look for site info on RTLSDR drivers and the Zadig installer.
