After buying the a959, I thought I would give this buggy a try. I managed to get this at a really good flash deal price and all I can say is.. wow! I can't believe the value for dollar of this buggy for what you get. Mine did come with 2 matching stock LiPo batteries contrary to some of the other reviews. I do have to say I like the transmitter that comes with the a959 better, but this one still works perfectly fine. One shock was leaky out of the box, but not a major problem. Compared to 9X9, this is a real step up. It's very hobby grade and there's really nothing you need to upgrade immediately. The motor it comes with is more than ample and the battery run time is accurate. I got a run time of 7 minutes on my first battery, but the voltage cutoff left one cell at 2.98v, so you'll want to be careful how long you run it. The very first thing I did based on the other reviews and YouTube videos was take the diffs apart. Mine Did have grease even inside the cups, so this may be something that's been addressed at the factory since those reviews. I removed it and replaced it with a heavier amount of automotive grease since I'd already taken them apart. With the exception of the one leaky shock, the amount and weight of oil seemed fine after a little threading adjustment. All in all I have to say I'm very impressed at this price point and if you're new to the hobby, I would highly encourage this buggy. The extra money is worth it over 9X9. WLToys is really becoming a good competitor in the RC market and even the packaging is becoming hobby grade. Thanks Banggood!

This review is coming from a person that has used a Futaba 9CHPSuper for the last decade. Seeing the trends and where the hobby was going, I finally decided to bite the bullet and try a multiprotocol transmitter. This radio really lives up to the internet hype. In terms of value for dollar, I think it's correct to say you won't find anything better in this price range. It does all the things my Futaba could do and so much more. The customizable voice commands really make this invaluable as there's no more guessing if you flipped the right switch. I've already made an entire unique voice pack tailored to my liking. It can also screen capture which is another invaluable feature, letting me screenshot my settings in case I change them and want to revert back or accidentally alter the settings. The first thing I did out of the box was test the range. Zero issues at 220 feet with an Assan X8R6. I did however have range and test issues with an XK K100 and even with fine tuning, the stock radio range is better. Take of that what you will. Although great, it's not perfect. The gimbals don't always show full deflection and the sensitivity can be fidgety. There is no included lanyard which is a little annoying, but not a big deal. The plastic doesn't feel premium compared to others I've owned and this is by far the biggest TX I've owned (Picture 6). This thing is huge! In many respects too big. If you're more concerned with function than material build, I don't think you'll be disappointed.

I purchased these batteries to replace the batteries that came with the Happymodel Mobula 6. They are bigger and thus heavier, but I am getting anywhere from 10-25 seconds more flight time than the stock batteries. There's definitely less voltage sag and they seem to maintain a better nominal voltage than stock. Time will tell if they last longer than the original batteries. It does come with an adapter, so you can charge these with the stock charger that came with the Mob6. I purchased this wing alongside the WLToys 144001 buggy after reading some complaints about the stock wing breaking too easily. I can tell you it is a direct fit and the mounting holes are identical. The wing is very strong and ridged, and should take a good amount of abuse if you intend to bash. Even the mounting screws it came with are stronger and beefier. If you're looking for an inexpensive way to upgrade your 144001, this is a must (especially if you plan to put your buggy through some abuse).

This review is coming from someone who has flown helicopters and driven trucks for over a decade. I settled on this drone as my first FPV after countless hours of research and I'm glad I chose it. For the price, this whoop is packed with functions. It is very durable and has already taken several strikes to walls with no issues. Even with the 19000kv version, it really packs a punch when you hit the throttle, so if you are new, you may want to learn how to tame down the throttle limit in betaflight. It is very fast indoors and you're guaranteed to hit things if you're new to FPV. Outside, I haven't had the best reception from the VTX, but that could be the very cheap budget goggles I chose to start out with. Even after calibrating the accelerometer and matching my radio gimbals to the betaflight outputs, I'm still getting a little drift and pitch forward in stabilization mode. Although I'm loving this so far, I will say the supplied charger isn't great. It doesn't want to charge above 4.2 volts no matter which setting it's set to. The prop removal tool is also useless as the metal is as soft as a pop can. Although the frame hasn't cracked yet, it is weak and flimsy, but that's a very easy and cheap upgrade to do with a meteor 65 frame when you finally break it. For the price, I would definitely recommend this whoop to anyone just starting out and the weaknesses can easily be addressed as you go, making it a flyer you can keep going for a long time to come.

BG504734131@ramonrveras No. In my case it was RF link. Other people have reported the same issue with the all in one XK receivers as well. For whatever reason, the stock XK TX gets much better range.

This is a very good option if you're not sure exactly what route to take for a power supply. They fit perfectly in the included battery tray that comes with the TX16S. I'm in the camp that if you're going to invest in a more expensive radio, lipo's are not worth the risk, and these eliminate most of that risk. Even though they are only 2500mah, I've gotten over 4 hours and counting on my first full charge and 50% screen brightness. The tray does slide around, so I added a strip of 3M weather stripping foam around the outside which eliminated all movement. If you take this route, make sure to use the battery voltage and charge settings I've posted in picture 3.

I wanted to try FPV and not break the bank in case I didn't like it. This is a good budget friendly option if you can get it on sale. For the price, it is packed with functions. There is a built in DVR which does the job. The strap feels very premium and it's not uncomfortable once I dialed in the straps. As broad as my face and forehead is, there is still some light leak in the top corners. The weight is also acceptable for 5-15 minute flights. When paired with a Mobula 6, I did have poor reception outside, so like most budget goggles, you'll probably want to upgrade the antennas. There is an AV input which is a bonus and I was able to play an old Nintendo Wii on it with the supplied cable. I do have two major gripes with these goggles. Although it records 4:3 640/480 and 16:9 wide screen HD, it doesn't have an option to change the display ratio. I don't understand why the developers would do this and it's a major headache if your drone/whoop is 4:3 format. This is such an easy thing to have in the firmware and hopefully there will be a firmware update that includes this function. My second big gripe is the battery, which lasts nowhere near the claimed time. The battery display up in the top corner is all over the place, moving up and down at random, making it hard to know how much capacity is left. All in all this is a good budget entry goggle if you can get it on sale and also want something to bench test/mount to radio. At full price, I would recommend choosing something else like 800D or DM.

With all the hype on the internet, I couldn't resist when it came on flash sale. It reminds me of a Team Associated 18/B. If you're a long time hobbiest used to operating big name brand cars and trucks, this may feel like a step down. There's not a lot of room for tweaking and adjustment out of the box. There is some slop in the steering assembly, but drives surprisingly straight despite it. The stock motor is more than fast enough for a beginner or if you just want something to bash around in your spare time. I was going to swap out the transmitter for my programmable radio, but the speed controller is an all in one board, so that's something to consider if you're buying to customize with you're own electronics. The radio it comes with gets very good range and is more than adequate for a beginner. My first 2 cycles of the battery lasted about 15 minutes each at almost full throttle the whole time. Some of the plastic is quite soft, but upgrades are dirt cheap and should last you a long time. Also make sure to check all of your screws are tight out of the box. Overall I have to say for the money this is just about the closest hobby grade buggy you're going to find at this price point and the weaknesses can be easily addressed with upgrades.

I dared to let my girlfriend try my buggy who'd never driven RC before. She went full speed straight into a concrete wall. The buggy surprisingly took the beating well, but the stock plastic shock mount instantly snapped in 2. This upgrade was on flash sale and only about 9 bucks more than stock at the time, so they seemed worthy of a try. They are more robust than stock and the all metal ensures any future damage will only occur at the shaft. As a couple of other reviews have stated, they leak quite a bit. I'm using a medium weight oil and there's a liberal amount on the a-arms by the end of the run. I had an impossible time getting the compression to match the stock shocks in the back no matter what mounting hole and threading tension they were set at. Switching to the stock shock springs did help a little. Overall I'm sure these shocks will fair better for bashing long-term, but the leaking at the shaft will give you a headache. Be prepared for a potential mess.

I purchased these towers alongside a WLToys 144001 after reading and watching some YouTube reviews that the stock towers bent too easily. The quality and finish is very good for the price. The mounting screws even seem stronger than stock. The design addresses the weak points at the mounting screws, but I noticed my shocks are slightly out of alignment with the chassis (further back than stock). This doesn't effect the performance though and there's no binding. This upgrade is an inexpensive purchase that will increase the longevity of your buggy if you intend to put your 144001 through some abuse.

Very good fit and finish. Quality part. Unfortunately I can confirm it does not fit on a WLToys 144001. I purchased with this intent, but with such a low profile body, the heat sink is too tall and prevents you from mounting the shell. Perhaps with a body post modification you could make it work. Will definitely hold on to it for another project.
