very bright! much much much brighter then I was expecting! immediately with the kitchen lights on you could see the solar panel was charging the batterys already. very well made, feels light but strong. remote works flawless, out of the box first impression is 5 star. Will leave on and test light longevity.

Robert Minenever worked either. A quality control issue they need to address!

I bought this in winter when the sun was at it's weakest and thought I would wait till summer when the UV was stronger, but it didn't work then either.This model DOES NOT WORK AT ALL, so don't waste your money on a Useless Dead Motor.

cero10 actually with a 12V5A (60W) DC input there is no way it can output anything over 55W

Received in good time however one of the brass risers was missing. I only had three in the bag instead of 4. Someone miscounted when they put this together. Human error... Still a nice amplifier at a good price.

Q: What is the purpose of the Capacitor in the Kit? Is it to prevent the MOSFETS from blowing out? Tere are no instructions, so where does the Capacitor go?

nihonski There is a 1000uF 25V Cap. at the output, which limits the volateg rise and fall ramp.I guess it should prevent overvoltage spikes when an inductive load is switched off.

I was sent a returned product. How do I know? The silicone sleeve was already installed, the pen clip was loose as well as everything else in the box. I purchased a new device...not one that was returned!!!

Q: How do you attach the chuck to the motor? The brass taper (sleeve) inside hole is a little smaller than the motor shaft and the outside is a little bigger than the chuck. Am I supposed to use brute force to attach or is there a trick? Is it intended to be a permanent attachment?

Robert I heated the brass sleeve with a torch and slid the sleeve on the shaft and cooled the brass down by dunking the brass component in water/
