The Silicone material seems good quality. But its very difficult to fill in the correct amount of water because you cant see it. If you fill in to less then you will not have full balls and if you fill in too much you will get one big size ice block instead of 4 balls. I cant recommend this. for the price the work great. they come out with some over spill but just run it under some water and perfectly spherical ice comes out. clarity depends on the quality of your water. I might pick up a few more of these. I’ve melt time depends on size of your drink. I’ve gotten anywhere from about 40 min in. whiskey glass to 15min for a large glass.
