Bought this because my otherwise fine laptop kept shutting itself down when playing games due to either the gpu or cpu overheating (I think it was the cpu as it turns out but not certain). Anyway it seems to work was able to play ESO for a good couple hours without experiencing a shutdown. Had hwmonitor running in the background and highest temp was cpu hitting 73c so it seems to do the job. The fan attaches nicely and has 13 speed settings. Its a bit big but then it probably would not be as effective if it wasn't. All in all I am rather pleased. If you are having similar issues to me and have circa 15 quid spare I would recommend you give it a go. There are cheaper options but I am aware of certain cheaper models at least being less effective.

Really impressed with its cooling power. I saw a significant decrease in my laptop while gaming. It gave me a drop of about 8-12C degrees on CPU and 12-18C degrees on GPU on my Asus GL552VW. Good built quality and design. Overall very happy with this product.

I use this on a lenovo x220t with an i7-2640m processor. I can now use the laptop/tablet for hardcore CPU apps, it does not surpass 85C. You might say it's not cool enough, but you should see the stats BEFORE using this external cooler. 10/10 would reccomend to friends!

I was surprised with this product, very nice packaging. also it came with rubber protectors for your usb, hdmi, mic - audio to prevent dust, I didnt expect it and it was a nice detail from the manufacturer. Pros: Fits well Actually reduces up to 10 degrees my laptop Good build quality. Auto mode Cons: Doesn´t come with wall adapter, and powering it from the usb results in less powerful fan (but still does really great job) but thats not really a huge con, you can use any usb wall adapter Overall in normal operation is really quiet, on max is pretty loud but as I only use it at max for gaming, i dont mind it because i use a headset, otherwise on automatic the noise is pretty low if not non existent
