Q: Does this device only work on GSM network? In New Zealand the last GSM network will close in next 2 years Then we will only have 3G, 4G, 5G. networks

BG383636391 It may be possible to hack the device and upload new firmware to use the frequencies being taken from GSM and reallocated to 4G and 5G networks. Otherwise it's a bit of a legacy device. Needless to say, it takes some serious know-how to do such a thing. You could even hack it to operate as a point-to-point device since the GPS operates independently of the radio.
