Q: Does it work with standard 20amp fuses in US homes, or does it blow the fuse?

BG103735417 Iuse it in Europe, in 220vAC in 10A fuse without problem. I believe that you will not have problem in US, as the device drain power from the built-in battery for the welding. it needs home power for charging the battery.

Q: I have bought this product and my question is what function does the pedal have because without stepping on the pedal the machine is working automatically after touching its probes too the nickel ?

BG103735417 Ihave made little use of the device, till now. I did'nt see the device working automatically when you touch the probes. You need to step the pedal, every time you need welding

it's the second unit that i buy. Good product. It has two functions: a) Works a cable detector, outside of socket. . Switch on, hold the unit with your hand, move it close to the wall, with the arrow NCV towards the wall and the buzzer will sound when detects voltage. b) Plug it in the wall socket, to show information. If the L is located on LEFT side shows INCORRECT! If L is on RIGHT side shows CORRECT.

The plastics and the buttons seems to be of good quality. I have it one week and i have used it for Terrestial signals. It works ok. You can watch the tv channels on the screen. The sound is good. The letters of readings in screen have good size and are easy to be read . It can gives 3 different pages of information by pressing the INFO!! However i noticed that the tester is not sensetive enough on (very low) signals below 50dbuv. In this case the tester indicated "no signal" and at the same time the TV unit (a new one) was receiving the station!! However is VFM and it's helpful instrument for a "semi/professional". The Manual has tiny letters and has liitle information about the usage of the device.

Good product. I like the slide type power switch. Many similar units has push button switch, and when you have the unit in a bag, many times the unit comes on accidentelly. This unit has no this problem

Good quality product. The instructions are written with TINY letters and are not sufficient. 1. You must unscrew 4 screws in the back and insert 2 AAA batteries in order to work. 2. The unit has two functions: a) You insert it in the socket and shows you a lot of information. b) Press POWER on and keep it in your hand with NCV arrow towards the wall, In order to detect electrical cables (works as voltage detector, NCV function) 3. Unit shows CORRECT when LIVE cable is in right side and then you can make RCD TEST. If LIVE is in left side, shows INCORRECT and DO not perform RCD TEST

I am fully surprised for what i received!! I ordered the INSTRUMENT TOOLTOP cable TESTER and instead i received a set of 3 remote ID, which i do not need, NEITHER I ORDERED!!! I PROTEST FOR THIS. In my order you have and the picture of the tool (with large LCD screen etc!!) . I suspected this outcome, as in your site you was not clear about the items you sell!! You do not specify if the Cable tester is sold separated from remote IDs or vice versa. So you send me something useless to me. I ordered the CABLE TESTER for 12,99 usd and not the remote ids that you sent me.

BG103735417 UPDATE It fits well to the ear. But the audio is rather low (insufficient) and people complains for low volume. I have a SAMSUMG J6 mobile with 3.0 bluetooth. It may works better in latest bluetooth protocol.

The packet arrived in time from CZ. The packing was good. I bought the unit in discounted price. The leaflet of instructions was written with tiny letters, almost impossible to read. (4 stars) But most important the instructions are NOT sufficient. Especially about the usage of external power unit. THIS IS VERY IMPORTANT. You must not plug it while you are welding!!! Fortunately I watched a video (which was uploaded by a user) and I understood the role of the power unit., etc. I tested 2-3 times. It does the job very good.
