Received today, can't say I care for the remote control which drives up the price, however I have bought other ones identical without the wireless remote and they work great, use them all the time from camping to power outages. I believe I paid like $9.00 for the no wireless remote, however could not find them again, other than that you can't go wrong, they recharge pretty good in sun light, but charge even further with the external charger that comes with the light.
