This unit operates extremely well even in low light conditions. Has a good pin lock application although possibly best to take a couple of shots to make sure not targeting the tree 40 metres behind the pin !! This unit is very compact and not heavy to carry on your belt in the side pouch that is provided. Although not maybe necessary on your home course ,but it is great when going to unfamiliar courses. Even if this gives me a one or two shot advantage over a round that saves me 20% off my handicap and at age 66 the 71 on Saturday has a good feeling about knowing the correct distance going forward. PS.. if your eyes are getting worn out it helps to see the pin position from the 180 metre distance for instance. Summary .. buy one or maybe two you wont regret it ! ( I've been playing for over fifty years now)
