I have not yet flown this plane, so I will limit my review to the kit and assembly. This is a very accurate representation of the J3 Cub. I not really fond of the plane's red and white Swiss color scheme, however it should still provide good visibility when in the air. The plane assembled quite easily in only about 30-minutes. The scale engine detail is outstanding! Other scale details include an exhaust stack, an antenna, wing bracing struts, and bracing wires on the empennage. This plane was a Version 4 with the redesigned and more robust main landing gear. This version also has a much more accurate spinner than the cylindrical one shown in the product photographs. The ailerons, elevator and rudder hinges are simply molded foam, but should be adequate. I was not impressed with the scale pilot figure as he looks too small and is placed in the front seat. The Cub is normally flown from the rear seat when no passengers are aboard. Fortunately replacing the pilot with a larger and more realistic one, and placing him in the rear seat was easily accomplished. This was done by carefully prying open the top canopy panel then removing the pilot and replacing him with a larger one in the rear seat. Access to the the receiver is on the bottom of the fuselage, aft of the wing. The battery access is located on the bottom of the fuselage between the main landing gear and the battery must be secured using a self-adhesive Velcro strip to ensure it does not move during flight. Also included with this plane is a set of floats for waterborne operations. These floats also include a steerable water rudder with a pre-installed and sealed servo, and the necessary hardware to mount them. This plane also included an FMS Reflex system which can be switched off and on to assist those learning to fly. Overall, this is probably the nicest J3 Cub for its size, and with its improved landing gear and low wing loading, should prove to be an excellent plane in the air.

spurgt af BG012233539 på 2021-04-28 08:00:07

BG722161336 Yes. There is definitely a profile available for the 1220mm Ranger.

Q: does this comes with a transmitter n receiver?

spurgt af BG352447534 på 2021-04-06 01:08:16

BG722161336 No. Neither the transmitter nor the receiver is included. Any plane that includes those things is labeled as RTF (Ready-ToFly).

Q: Is the water rudder fixed? Is it removable for shallow snow?

spurgt af greatbang på 2021-03-11 02:43:56

BG722161336 The water rudder is fixed, and cannot be removed by design. The pivot bracket for the rudder is glued to the back of one pontoon. The rudder and its shaft fits into this bracket and only permits movement from side to side through the action of a sealed servo in the pontoon,

BG722161336 The servo leads ARE included. As far as compatibility with the 1100mm A6M, I installed the Reflex System interface on my PC and that Zero fighter DOES HAVE a profile available--so it will work for that plane by loading that plane's profile into the Reflex System V2.

Q: Hello, this gyro suitable with FMS P*****mm?

spurgt af wanemdeybee på 2021-02-22 08:37:54

BG722161336 I don't believe it is... at least at this point. I installed the Reflex System interface on my PC and checked if the P-39 had a reflex profile that could be loaded. Unfortunately, as of 02-22-21, there was no profile for any P-39.
