navtilus Ialso encountered such a problem, with one device working flawlessly, and the other worked for about a week and ceased to be detected in the Mi Home application. Replacing the battery led to the same result - a week of operation, and then "silence". I looked for an answer in the relevant forums, where I learned about two things: 1. This is a very common problem. 2. There is no solution yet, and upon purchase, you need to hope that you will receive a non-defective copy.

TomiE Just pull control lever out directly with some force. There is locking mechanism that releases when enough force is applied.
