Being more of an old school RC pilot, I was not expecting much. I have not flown any RC planes is about 30 years, and got this just because of the Covid stay at home orders.. I have to say, I was very happily surprised with the plane. My only well not really complaint, but surprise was the fact that it was listed as a slow flier. I kinda have to disagree with that. I know I am out of touch with flying, and it has been a long time, but wow! This was 2-3 times faster than my 2 meter planes, and I was not really expecting that much overall speed. It was amazing. Out of the box, the trim was almost perfect. The controls were responsive without over-compensating what I was doing. Having that beginner switch probably saved me a lot of grief. I thought I could just get right back to where I was, and was happily mistaken. I have been having a lot of fun relearning how to fly RC again. If you have the space for this plane it is a lot of fun to fly. I would suggest purchasing an additional charger, as the USB one provided while adequate, slows you down on the recharges. It also in my mind at least feels a bit flimsy but is not bad enough that I would downgrade the quality rating given the price of the kit.
