Arrived well packaged and on time. These IC sockets will do the job just fine. That said, they are easily stackable to make 16 pin sockets. They don't tolerate heat to well and beginners at soldering may need practice so as not to melt them. The price is more than acceptable and on the whole you get what you give, a bargain.
