I have ordered a 68rpm version, it does 70, but it's fine, also adjustable. The motor and the gearbox case is metal, the gears themselves are yet to be confirmed. The control box is small and lightweight, there is a simple controller inside, however the speed governing is done through a magnetic sensor at the end of the motor spindle. It can not be used at super low speeds, if you need that order such a version with an appropriate gear ratio. Through the gears the motor feels strong (as expected). Inside the control box, the grounding pin is not even soldered - it goes otherwise to the motor cable but it's not connected at the motors end. It could be, but it is not. Also the connector pins are at the controllers end which is unsafe, one can touch them when they are powered but unplugged. In overall though, I'm satisfied, seems to be fine for the role I got it for.
