Q: Can anyone tell me how to turn off the green switch back-light?

Phrozin I honestly just give a quarter turn on tailcap to disconnect 100% and no parasitic drain from green light or electronics..,but the button presses as stated by other user will also work

Paulo These rods are for use with TIG welder, not gas torch.

Paulo Here is a method to set up the charger controller - I found that the settings were not correct when the board was delivered to me. VR1 will change the voltage where the relay switch closes (The battery charger turns on) VR2 will change the voltage where the relay switch opens (The battery charger turns off) Turn the screw clockwise to reduce the setting and counter-clockwise to increase the setting. To set up the controller, do the following: First set the voltage that the charger will turn on: 1. screw VR1 fully counter-clockwise (maximum setting - approx 15 turns) 2. screw VR2 fully clockwise (minimum setting - approx 15 turns) 3. apply a voltage of 11.0V to the "+V-" terminals 4. adjust VR2 (counter-clockwise ) until the LED turns on (the relay switch closes to start the charging) Now set the voltage that the charger will turn off: 1. apply a voltage of 14.5V to the "+V-" terminals 2. adjust VR1 (clockwise) until the LED turns off (the relay switch opens to stop the charging) Now check that the settings are correct by varying the voltage applied to the "+V-" terminals The LED should come on when the voltage drops below 11.0V and the LED should go off when the voltage rises above 14.5V. If necessary, make small adjustments to VR1 and VR2 until the on and off voltages are correct to your requirements. Now connect your battery charger

Paulo Operating voltage: DC 11.5-14.5v, the highest can not exceed 15v, otherwise the chip will burn. Relay closed charging voltage: 11.5v - Adjust this setting with VR2 Relay off protection voltage 14.5v - adjust this setting with VR1 Voltage error: 0.1v Voltage detection mode: DC voltmeter - Connect volt meter to terminals "VCC and -" Charging type: 12v battery battery - Connect battery terminals to battery charger and "V "
