Q: Can someone please tell me, Do I need to put some kind of battery alarm because of the Lipo, or it cuts off on its own before voltage is too low to damage the battery

Q: Hi, When are you going make more parts available for the HBX 16889A pro especially the complete gearbox? parts are harder to find. can’t find the whole gearbox for this model, only the all plastic old version.

BG181843981 you have to upgrade the plastic version to the metal one. it's not very complicated. plus, you get a chance to proudly grease it.

awesome truck! I got to rip (and oh boy, it rips!) it across some sand dunes just before it ended up bottom side up in a 1 meter deep drainage pit. It was flooded for at least a couple of minutes before I was able to fish it out of the water. To my surprise the bugger was still powered on and was able to drive. Brake and reverse didn't work though. Back home I cleaned off the sand and rinsed it with demi-water. The day after I cleaned it further and reprogrammed the ESC. It still works like a charm! I do have to keep in mind that over time the electronics might still fail me.. Luckily replacement parts come in cheap, so no worries there.
