The track saw square worth the waiting. It is accurate and works as it should be. The quality is exceptional. I checked the item and found no scratch whatsoever. 1- Here is what I did to test its squareness and 45 degree: 2- Used Starrett double square and drew parallel lines 3- Took the Track Square on Makita guide rail and drew a line on 45 degrees to cross the parallel lines 4- Took an engineer Protractor and measure if it is really 45 degree 5- Bang, it is 45. This arrived in 8 days. Like others I had to make a fine adjustment. Mine is pretty accurate but not perfect. Maybe I need to play with it a little longer or lower my expectations. The track needs to be angled off the workpiece when lining up the square with the edge and the guide rail with the cut line. If you don't, you'll have problems. They describe this in the top left of the instructions and I've provided some pictures. Even still, the guide rail acts as a leaver that can cause the positive stop to slightly slip out of the indent. I find this a bit tricky but I'm sure I'll get used to it. You can't just slap this on the board and make an accurate cut. It's a bit finicky, which I suppose is to be expected. The fit and finish is excellent. The anodizing is similar to Woodpeckers. The packaging was adequate and it arrived undamaged. I'll probably use the packaging to make a systainer. I've handled, but not used, the Woodpeckers version. This is not as solid or heavy but I'm very happy with it considering the cost difference.

Simply exquisite, and I'm looking forward to using it. it came well protected in Styrofoam and an outer cardboard box.

excellent track square. came about 1mm of square on a 55" length of track . but it IS ADJUSTABLE . other then that it's an awesome square. detents have zero play and once you make it 90deg , the rest of the detents were accurate .

Great square dead accurate, and allows you to be able to cut angles with your Festool track guide. Much cheaper than the other more expensive RED brand. It seems to be made very well and I checked it for accuracy. Dead on!
