It's a very slick unit, very safe to use, i'd call it very civilised. The unit instructions are not in English but it's straightforward, hold the button for a few seconds to turn on. short press the button to go up in strength (5 levels) hold the button for a few seconds to turn it off, that's it. Hold the welding tips on your strip, and it will auto recognise and weld within a second, and repeat. 0.12mm is it's realistic max on Nickel-Plated Strip, you may do higher but you will unlikely to get great welds. 0.10mm is it's max on Pure Nickel - Pure Nickel is generally what you want to use because has approximately half the resistance of Nickel Plated Strip and will not rust. To go 0.15mm Pure Nickel strip you need a big powerful 2-3kW capable spot welder with bigger leads or terminals, i'd estimate this is more like 1kW-1.5kW momentary output device.

Easy to select best one - in this case, probably 4, but any from 2 to 5 will do nicely Comes with a nickel strip - description says it's a "nickel sheet" - wasn't sure what it was, so ordered a 5m too - enough for a long time :-)
