I've been tempted to buy a thrust unit for many years and it seems it's finally available at a sensible price. The unit appears to be very well built although I'll mount it to a heavier base which can be anchored to the edge of my workbench. Nothing worse that a test unit trying to fly. I'll be giving this a good testing shortly and I'll write a review in the Community forum.

I have seen this tester some month ago and was not sure to buy or to look for another one. But the other one are more expensive and i have to pay additional custom fees and some hours to go to the custom office. After i have some problems with my self wound motors - i decide to buy this. Some write here there is no description - some write here its not working. I replace the power connection connected to a adjustable step down modul with output 3.8 Volt - and the display shows me a friendly "Hello" after pushing the first button.(if you connect this with 3.3 V - the display shows "LB" think it means "LOW Battery". the second button you can choose the units (gr- lbs-oz and something i dont know) - and the 3. button you can set to 0 (zero). You can see push or pull trust. What to do we need more when we want to now how good a brushless motor is? And test a motor / prop combination :) The weight-sensor is very sensitive - how exact it is - i will try to test. I will now build some adapters for smaller and bigger motors - and hope i will have a happy testing :) The only thing is how is packed. I am glad that is only the alu ground plate is damaged on the corners. And the rest is working - so no reason for craying to customer service. For some of us how are want to know if the trust is ok for hovering your copter - i think its ok to have this item. Combined with a watt-meter and a laser-tachometer you have all what you have to test

Замечательное устройство для проверки тяги двигателя. Очень компактное при этом высокое качество изготовления, прочное. Высокая точность показаний. Каретка установленна на компактном линейном шарикоподшипнике. Меряет тягу в обе стороны. Рекомендую к покупке.

This wasn't the tester machine I bought. This one as no paint, the push buttons I don't know for why they are there and worst, without legend to show functions. The weight reduced to improve costs ( I understand ). I remain waiting for instructions.
