excellent buy for the price. Had no problem programing it with the UV-5R cable with Chirp set on BF-58 radio. Problem with the CHIRP is that this radio BF-5PLUS is not listed yet and the BF-58 software will not allow me to program in the 220Mhz frequencies but okay on manual programing. As before on the reviews push and hold the top left pad on the keypad and switch on the on switch to switch between VFO or Memory settings. On the VFO you program the channel manually and store to memory.

Delivery time was four weeks, the radio looks neat. Unfortunately the output power is not 18 Watt but maximum around 5 Watt on all frequencies at the highest setting in the menu. So there is not much difference from the outside with the comparable other radios.

It arrived faster than expected! but there are slight differences between the new black and the old yellow one i ordered. Yellow one has 18W written on it, and seemingly has a larger battery. Black one has 1/5W written in its book, but has a stronger (faster?) charger.

Arrived very fast, I have to wait because of personal problems to the item...In the manual came very well explained all kind of programming.... I love the orange colour.... Now I hae to try it in the mountains.... to test the reception.. thanks banggood

Arrived on time and works very well. Covers 136/174 200/259 400/520 which was a surprise as the ad did not specify that it was a TRI band radio. Programmed with Chirp using the uv-5r cable and the uv-9r settings. Job done.

Excellent for the price, I like it very much. Nice touch, robust, nice functions, it's powerfull.. I recommend.
