A fine woven sheet of stainless mesh. I am using mine as an air filter on my aircraft motor intake. Other uses could be found in the kitchen for sifting flour or perhaps outside when barbecuing fish over an open fire. The product is of premium quality and comes in a number of different filter sizes. My piece was about 1mm x 1mm mesh BUT the manufacturer makes it right down to micron sized filter. AA1+
