I believe if you want to replace the reduction gear on the A959-B you can use this gear but you will need to have the metal upgrade chassis as it has slots so you can adjust placement of the 27T motor gear along with the 540 motor as this part is just smaller than the plastic reduction gear that comes as standard. i've just purchased the metal upgrade chassis so i will test this THEORY out to confirm and update this review.

This Upgrade gear gives my RF car more power and is much quieter. I don't hear the gear skip or grind like the original plastic gear that just ended up wearing out. Very good upgrade feature.

Отличная железная шестерня. Пластиковую даже брать не стоит. Стачивается в стоке и спур и пиньон. Покупайте сразу обе и меняйте! Также советую кулаки на дифах!

You will eventually have to change the stock gears, because they will wear out sooner or later since they are made of cheap plastic. Especially if you run your cars mostly in high speeds, jumps and/or in places where there are lots of grains of stones. Unlike what has been said about the noise due to the upgrade, what I've been experiencing is the contrary. My cars don't whine/scream anymore when in high speed. I really recommend these metal gears.
