The Stirlingmotor needs some encouraging but after several attempts it will work. the space between cold snd hot zone is to small. So creating A temperature difference is the real problem. if that succeeds, it wil work fine It is really not a toy but you can see how it works. the brass working cilinder, the metal plunger and the metal diffuser are quite good machined. Nice instrument!
