Both lamps are perfect, very bright and useful. To switch on or off the front lamp press and hold the button. Both shows the charging state and the charged also with color LEDs.

I had bought the lights 3 years ago, I like the durability of the battery, the battery lasts between 2 and 4 hours, they work in the rain, I have used them in temperatures as low as 0C. I left the lights on my bike and it was snowing and all I had to do was remove the snow and they come on with no problems.
