I needed a microphone for my new PC to talk to Cortana, and the style of this one in particular just happened to fit in perfectly with my Creative Pebble Speakers, which is the main reason I chose it over other options. So far, it has worked pretty well for all all of my commands and questions, and it has great pickup range for my use. The grille portion of the mic has a more uniform texture than what's shown online (see photos), and it doesn't actually have any branding on it, which is nice. I'm very happy with this purchase.
