It's OK. When it does pulse repair you can hear sound from the charger pulsing. Voltage goes around 15V, I don't know if it is good or bad, I mean too high but I trust those chargers that they are doing their job as they have to do. When battery is full, voltage goes between 13V and 13.8V which I know is OK. Since this is not my first time order, on this one display is little bit pale.

  • AngryPlum During pulse repair phase, the charger sends high frequency minimal duty cycle high voltage pulses into the battery. If the battery is very sulfated, these cause the float voltage (the one indicated) to go above the normal end voltage for 6 cell lead acid batteries (14.7V). On some of the higher current chargers that i've built it has gone as high as just over 20V, but soon drops down as the internal resistance subsides (due to repair process).
