I've used this set of finer polishing pastes in conjonction with the rougher polishing set starting with the 40 microns and finishing with the 1 micron paste to make a great mirror finish on carbide machining inserts, great results at a great price... Happy with the product.

I used this on my D2 (very hard hrc 60 or above) after using a ceramic stone on my knife blade starting with coarse progressively to finer to get a mirror edge .I always check the edge of my knives on my thumb nails .I could even feel it for a couple of seconds but the edge went right through my thumb nail an d into my thumb and began bleeding I honestly didn't feel anything for a couple of seconds it was that sharp.and I could never get an edge like this untill i used this diamond paste.

Quick delivery--less than two weeks. Items were packaged only in a bag and one of the plungers was broken off. I believe that I'll still be able to use this, but the vendor should consider packaging in a simple cardboard box.
