It comes without any manual. but use is quite straightforward: only connect the seiconductor union to be tested in reverse polarity, minimun current & voltage, and start increasing voltage slowly until display numbers stops increasing with voltage knob rotation. In the photo you can see a double diode with a BRV of 190 V. The other diode aside is a high voltage special one for microwave ovens with a BRV of 5 Kv, so it's out of range for measurement (voltage in mine reaches a maximun of 2720 V). Anyhow, a recommendable devide to have in the lab. Simple, but effective and a nice to have item. It came fully charged, so I was able to test it inmediately. Is very handy, Testing unmarked vdr's.. Also tested my own breakdown voltage! Not so handy...Normally using the Huntron tracker with comparison unit..but this tester has really high voltage.
