Having spent (some might say 'wasted' hundreds of £s on hundreds of torches / flashlights, I know a good one when I find it and this Jetbeam RRT-M1X LEP light is a really good LEP for the price. The biggest plusses are the build quality, the fact that it's a 'straight through' laser/phosphor emitter and the rotary mode selector (I REALLY thought I'd hate a rotary mode selector before trying this…) which feels really well designed and feels really good in use, with definite 'points' in rotation for each mode, no sloppiness in positioning and no 'slack', just as it should be. Build quality overall is excellent, combined with a good quality / capacity 21700 battery and handy hard shell carry case, this is a great combination at a great price, definitely worth adding to my LEP shelf - just wish I could say that for all the other torches I've 'invested' in…
