It works! I have mine set up about 300 meters (through trees) away from the receiver in a stationary emplacement as a security camera transmitter , and reception is strong. I did add a small 12V fan screwed to the end of it, to keep it from overheating, since there is no airflow over it as it would have on an RC plane or 'copter. They do get hot and probably would not last long without airflow

Dead on arrival. No video output.. The LEDs work in the dark, but after trying on three different monitors, there is no video output.

Ερ: Has anyone gotten this to tether or provide wi-fi hotspot? It works on the internet by itself, but will not pass through to a tethered PC. I've spent at least 20 hours trying everything, including all the 'tricks' I could find on the internet, and from my cell service provider (Airvoice, USA). No luck. Windows networking troubleshooter says "NO DNS Service" (Even when I use an alternate DNS service. Linux doesn't show any errors, just won't connect to web pages or email servers. Works fine on my two previous phones.

gulch Yes., at least on ATT and Airvoice. It should work on all the major networks, although I think a couple of the smaller carriers use a frequency this does not cover.
