I am not an expert in sharpening but I am quite pleased with the #400 grit. The #1000 grit is somewhat smoother but not much fine for amateur like me. Unfortunately I did not notice that this particular item does not have blades for scissors like others of the same design do (it has some plastic there instead). It also has only one slit for blade forming and the other side has plastic there instead. So this one is super trimmed model I would have ordered with full features if I knew.

Well made and with a variety of sharpening surfaces, this is highly recommended. The scissor sharpener is particularly impressive and has resurrected a couple we had thought were irrecoverable.

I like this sharpener. It's large enough to handle all my knives. Very pleased with it. It arrived sooner than expected, and has been a great addition to my tools.

surface is alittle bit rough especially 1000 side

Bon produit mais le côté annoncé grain 1000 est plutôt grain 200 et ne sert à rien pour aiguiser des couteaux. C'est plutôt 200/400 et pas 400/1000

Very good sharpener. Particular for ceramic knifes.
