I have a few V911s and a seriously modded V912... and have been flying for a couple of years. This V977 is awesome. Flight time is close to double the V911 and V912. Handling and controls are 500% better. I now feel I can keep getting better at flying. I've tried 3d and failed multiple times... but nothing has broken yet. I also have flown the V977 in 15 mph winds and this thing impressed me... It did bob up and down but I had total control of this bird. If you are ordering this, get some batteries... the recharge time and not having another battery stinks. Totally worth it.

Nevertheless I took the plunge when WL Toys released this brushless motor heli. And glad I am. It flies beautifully straight out of the box. Coming from V911, I found it intuitive enough to fly and hover. What I find is taking time is learning to make a circle in both directions as the flybarless respond quickly to slightest adjustment. I am learning though. It is not at all anything like what I had feared as in crashing it and frustrations before I start enjoying some decent flights. For anyone who has flown V911, it should be a fun experience while learning the tricks of making turns on a flybarless. I crashed it about 5 times so far while learning turns. As is usual with WL Toys helis, they are super crash resistant. The tail motor will dislodge from its housing. Thats about the only thing. Push the tail rotor back in and the heli is ready to fly again. I haven't tried the inverted flying and stunts. I have a long way to go before I can even dare to attempt that kind of stuff. Meanwhile I am enjoying flying it. I flew it outdoor in mild wind. It handled the wind like a charm. I am going to order one more battery. The flying time is about 8 to 10 minutes. I find it does take longer time to charge. Almost about an hour and a half. Not a complain. Just manage your expectations about the battery charging time. Also consider ordering spare batteries. Pros Flies really well straight out of the box Can take crash Really enjoyable experience Very little learning curve for someone who flies V911 Price (finally an affordable, brushless motor flybarless Cons Can't think of any so far A Critique The Remote Unit is new one. I just recieved my v977 last nite , arrival time to the us was less tjan 3 weeks. Upon opening the box I was impressed with everything. The remote is very nice looking and feels great in your hands. The heli seems very well built .ive got to say this little heli has so much power, way more than I thought even when you have tx on low rate its fast , so becareful it will get away from you. I dont really recommend this for indoors due to its speed and power .the 6axis gryo is nice and stable great for entry level flyer into a 6 channel cp heli.the tx is very easy to switch between 6axis to 3g stunt mode and easy switching from duel rates low amd high. I highly recommend this little heli to anyone wanting to step up to a entry level cp heli.

Отличный не убиваемый верт, который умеет летать как дома так и на улице, за свои деньги вполне достойный девайс - при падениях прокручивается а в последствии и разбалтывается большое зубчатое колесо (но это только при падениях жестких) верт имеет режим полета в комнате и на улице (быть флайбарным и безфлайбарным) БК моторчик

A few days ago I received the V977, so far very happy with it, but is larger than I thought, very stable indoor and outdoor flight, even indoors with caution because of the difficulty of the flight. Battery life fine, shockproof. The knob a little something large and ugly colors, but overall good quality and accurate.
