I've built a few Geekcreit kits now and each one has proven to be a good kit. This is a great looking kit (I purchased green) and am currently using it with 24 hour time and small seconds display (much the same as the green clock is showing in the display photo on the listing) Construction was straight forward - surface mount components are always a challenge, but take your time and have some solder wick on hand to assist with soldering down the ICs. You should have this up and running in a couple of hours. The kit doesn't ship with the back-up battery. You'll need to supply your own CR1220 battery - add a pack to your order when you order this clock. Without the back-up battery, if your clock loses power, you'll need to reset the time. Recommended.
