The thing that impressed me is this regulator has got an inductor coupled with the capacitor in the output section which most of these cheap regulators lack. Thus we get good filtered output. All over Good quality board. Tested them and they work as advertised.

It is a good part but you have to be careful when your voltage rises from 0V upwards. This can happen if a solar panel gets only a bit of sun. I have set up the output voltage on 5V at an input voltage of 12V. If you stay in the specified voltage range it works very well. At about 3V as input voltage the output goes up to 17V (on the output was a load of 100 Ohm)! That may can damage your device connected on the output. It decreases as soon as you reach the minimum specified input voltage. So make sure to operate in the specified input voltage range or build an output protection circuit.
