This is almost a terrific gadget. You put it on your dash, plug it into your OBD port, and, bam, you have a head-up display. Mostly, it displays your speed, but that's what I mostly want. Two big problems with the design make it pretty useless for me, though. First, the interface is pretty bad. There's a simple On / Off button, which is fine, and then there's an In / Out and Up / Down button. All options are selected by scrolling through an invisible menu with the second button. And the menu doesn't match the somewhat cryptic instructions. As a result, changing from KPH to MPH isn't very easy, and neither are the various other settings, some of which I had to just guess at. The second problem is that the device doesn't always turn itself off when you shut off the car. The instructions say you can adjust the voltage sensor . . . but because of the whole Mysterious Invisible Menu problem, good luck with that. Regardless, I couldn't get it to work, and I wasted a lot of time on it. And if you turn it off manually . . . it forgets the changes you've made to the settings. So you'll have to start all over again. Could you just leave it on? Probably it won't drain your battery. It looks pretty stupid if you just leave it on, but some people could live with it.
