I previously gave this product a poor review. But soon after realized my mistake. Even tho the provided plug is a standard US 110v plug, the transformer requires 220v. This was an oversight on my part. I have since swapped out the 220v transformer for a 110v transformer and the power supply now works as expected. It now goes from 1.1v to 15.5v output.

The kit was fun to put together but does not actually work. I followed the diagram as carefully as I could and It powers on and the LEDs light up, but it never gets above 5.8v volts. Also, the power is not stable, it will jump around from 5.6v to 5.8v to 5.0v, 5.4v, etc.. Plus the LEDs just flash in an odd sequence, but not as they are supposed to. The blue one is always on, and the other just flash
