The price and delivery time was great. The assembly went well with help from my neighbor John and some additional guidance from Youtube videos. After watching a few of the videos you pick up on things like ensuring the base plate was not loose and getting little additional things that are hard to pick up from the instructions alone. My only two dislikes are the amount of free play in the horizontal bar holding the extractor (on the left had side), the two mounting screws go into slightly larger holes on the mount. This can cause problems with leveling the bed if not correct. The second is the amount of overhang on the sides of the magnetic mat, which has to be mainly overhung on the left hand side to avoid running into the uprights etc on the right. My first print was going well until about 3mm from the top the cat came unstuck from the bed. I have watched a number of videos and read the forums on how to ensure the item stays stuck to the bed during printing,but as yet I have not found one that relates to the magnetic cover (and how to get better adhesion). As this is my first 3D printer the question arises as to what software to use to maximize the fun experience with my new printer. I almost forgot the printer was quieter than I expected, meaning my wife lets me use it in the house. Being disabled from a spinal injury meant I was unable to put the printer together myself, so it was a fun project to do with a friend.

  • RStubbs Sorted free play in the horizontal bar, noticed that the latest Creality Ender 3Ver2 you can upgrade to a second Z motor and screw bar to minimize movement on the weighted horizontal bar. Printer is working great, would recommend great printer.
