I ordered the 50 watt version and i am impressed at 32v they draw 1,56 A current which is real 50 watt. At higher voltage the current increases also the heat does. Actually the heat is the main danger at these leds i use a watercooling setup the mounting holes work fine with m3 screws, everything mounted using thermal conductive paste works fine unit is at 27°C But be warned without heatsink those leds get untouchable hot (80°C) in less than 30 seconds

  • castlerock My understanding is that anything more than 1W must use heatsink unless you are boiling water with it...:)

  • mpjslo Mind sharing your water cooled setup? What heatsinks and fans you recommend for plain air cooled setup? Thinking of going for 4x50W (with this as driver, looking for heatsinks (might go for DIY).thanks!

  • mpjslo Thanks, tho i think i might opt in for separate air cooled (CPU like) heatsinks (with 90degrees lens).
