I ordered the 50 watt version and i am impressed at 32v they draw 1,56 A current which is real 50 watt. At higher voltage the current increases also the heat does. Actually the heat is the main danger at these leds i use a watercooling setup the mounting holes work fine with m3 screws, everything mounted using thermal conductive paste works fine unit is at 27°C But be warned without heatsink those leds get untouchable hot (80°C) in less than 30 seconds

  • castlerock My understanding is that anything more than 1W must use heatsink unless you are boiling water with it...:)

  • mpjslo Mind sharing your water cooled setup? What heatsinks and fans you recommend for plain air cooled setup? Thinking of going for 4x50W (with this as driver http://www.banggood.com/S-400-36-400W-36V-11A-Single-Output-AC-to-DC-SMPS-Switching-Power-Supply-p-1072522.html), looking for heatsinks (might go for DIY).thanks!
