Meaning that the left and right eye are not focused on the same point. Even more true when it comes to zoom-binoculars. If you look at one star, you will see 2 stars, and your eyes will struggle trying to make the 2 images overlap. That will give you a headache. (Trust me, I have a similar binocular. Mine is 25-125 X 70. It was a pain to use until I had it properly collimated.) Another thing to think about is that large binoculars with high magnification becomes almost impossible to hand hold. They are heavy, and the slightest movement will make the image shake like crazy, so a tripod mount is highly recommended. See More
