maurits On the bottom of the circuit board you can see two soldering connecting points next to each other marked GND (ground) and 24V respectively. Use a 24V DC power supply and connect its positive output to the 24V connection point, and its negative output to the GND connection on the circuit board.

maurits The pump is marked 4.5 - 12 volts, so 12 volts should be okay.

Q: What is the third pole on the female contact?

Asked by Arnror on 2022-09-01 03:35:28

maurits The innermost negative terminal on the socket is connected to the negative pole of your equipment's internal power source (usually batteries), and the outermost ("third") negative terminal completes the negative line to your equipment. When a plug from an outside power source is inserted into the plug, it disconnects the batteries, and supplies its own power to your equipment. (Of course the plug's positive terminal (the centre one) must be connected to the your equipment's positive line.)

Q: Why there is no UK plug?

Asked by Fai00 on 2022-02-01 11:20:23

maurits It seems all the ones with UK plugs have been sold out. Ust get yourself a US to UK adaptor plug. Voltage will be OK since the AC adaptor is rated for 100 to 240 volts.

Q: can this work to engrave on gold/silver jewellery?

Asked by BG131049114 on 2021-12-27 08:29:37

maurits Lasers generally do not do well on reflective surfaces, and metal could be a problem for a weakish laser like this. Maybe one can experiment with temporarily painting the surface with paint, and remove it after lasering.

maurits No, if you look at the picture of the back of the circuit board, you will see that those holes are connected, thus the same terminal.
