langasi I have used it during winter below zero celsius (max was maune -25C) for several moths. Still works fine after the winter. One problem - it is not really waterproof, need to seal it off properly with silicon, otherwise water gathers inside when it rains or snows.

langasi For me it died completely after several uses over a period of 1 month. Was no linger recognized as any sort of USB device, nothong could be recovered. Dont use it as tour only backup media.

langasi Since people here are claiming it'll work with any IR device, after having tested the device I can confirm that it won't work with any IR device., BW-RC1 seems to be limited by what IR frequencies it cannot reproduce, irrespective if you have another remote from which to copy a command. For example, it didn't work for me with bang & Olufsen TV & Audio equipment. Another example: it could not power on a Panasonic TV, even by copying the command from original remote, although other commands worked fine. So take these claims about "any IR device" with caution, they're false.
