whitechocolate Is the material like a memory foam when being pressed? Planning to add something like this for my 3D printer too (Trinus) just not sure if it will lessen the noise and if the material will deform after getting pressed.

I tossed one of these mats under my 3d printer to keep it from reverberating noise while I have long prints going and for that it's awesome! Can barely hear the printer going on the hardwood floor now. I didn't realize the size of the mat when I ordered and will have to pick up a second one to fit all the rest of my 3d printer parts. The foam is nice and thick and the bottom has sticky tape on it (which I opted to just leave on, it still works just fine at sound deadening with the tape cover on the back.
