Gilberto PAL- slightly higher resolution but lower framerate (50FPS); NTSC- slightly lower resolution but higher framerate (60FPS). If you don't know which would you like the most get a PAL/NTSC switchable camera (not the ones you choose PAL or NTSC before buying, and yes the ones you can change this with the joystick).
