EU-warehouse made the delivery quick. Once arrived it was packed up very nicely, lots of shaped foam and strong cardboard. The engraver comes in pieces but is put together in ½-1 hour with the help of a surprisingly detailed manual, color pictures and step-by-step instructions. I was happy to see that the former issues with the fasteners not matching the instructions had been solved. I did manage to put it together a bit wrong and had to start over (the bar with AtomStack goes at the back, warninglabel at front) but mostly it was a pleasent build. If you would like to get into laser engraving this is a great start but there are some things to consider. This is only the machine, it spits out a hot spot of light and zipps across back and forth, like a printer but with a heafty bit of fire hazards. To get this to work better or do more you will need peripherals. First off get the underlay right from the get go, the honeycomb to raise the material and protect the table underneath. Pick up a long USB-C-cable, one will come with the machine but it's a bit short if you have a stationary computer. If you can afford it, get the enclosure too because this will make smoke, a lot of smoke. Bad smoke. Very much not healthy smoke and that enclosure will give you a way to vent it out a window. Or just always run the machine outdoors. The AirAssist is good if you are going to cut alot of material, specially thicker material. For engraving it's not necessary at all and any air pump (like a fish tank air pump or mini-compressor) with around 10-30 l/min will do the job decently, just use some hoses and clamps to hook it up, the connections are already on the machine. I did not get the app to work, on my tablet it crashes right away, on my phone it's difficult to add the device and I need to do it every time it starts up. Then it fails to upload the print anyways. Atomstack Studio on PC works fine. It's not perfect but still a recommended buy, should you like the idea of lasers.

BG111143950 Yes, to some extent. I've engraved slate, a softer form of rock. Play around with the settings and you can get different results, low power will leave a shallow white engraving, medium to high power will leave a golden shine more towards yellow-brown. Several slow passes at high power will leave a coarse and darker engraving. It will not cut or engrave deep in rock.

Markem For copper engraving, infrared or fiber optic lasers are required, such as R30 V2, MR20, and P1 5W+1.2W, because these model comes with an infrared laser head.A10 PRO V2 is not supported.
