BG233217151 you didn't buy the right one, the only one with a base holder (which is the charger base) is for the lipo rechargable version not the standalone AAA battery one.. I modded mine to use a 500Mah lipo battery and made my own charger base and works flawlessly and with the actual amount of power you would expect from such a device rather than the weak sauce put out by the measly triple A batteries lmao
