Q: will this work in a RGT 136240 v2 ?

Asked by BG255545223 on 2022-05-14 05:09:57

DelDredd That car comes with in built ESC-Rx so you do not need this, also needs 2 Cell ie7.4 V and the car is 1 Cell powered, 2Cell would burnout the motor. You would need a seperate Transmitter and receiver to run this ESC as well.

Q: Are the electronics waterproof?

Asked by Jonathan_Perez on 2021-07-02 11:05:50

DelDredd They are not meant to be immersed in water but the odd splash and rain etc should not cause too much concern. You could always do the waterproofing yourself if you intend going through deep puddles etc. Plenty of videos about of the truck in action even through some water also on how to waterproof.

DelDredd Not used it yet, but obvious it must have otherwise how is your Receiver going to get power and your Servos etc via the Receiver. Generally ESC's are listed as Opto etc if they have no BEC as per a lot used in Quads, as these use distribution boards and separate Regulators to power any ancillary lights for example.

DelDredd Youdo know the Transmitter contains two antennas and has been proved to have controls up to 2Km away in air so no need for an Antenna update.

DelDredd Does not seem to measure past 5M when outside in bright light, I have tried a few times. Would need to wait until very dull outside.

Q: Is this available in fractional size?

Asked by scott33761 on 2020-03-18 07:45:54

DelDredd If you mean Imperial ie inches and fractions of an inch, I don't think so.If you mean in steps smaller than 1mm then yes it is marked on the rule as such, there are holes marked for 0.25mm steps. You can see in the pictures, 10th 20th and 40th of cm steps.See answer below to link for an imperial version, more expensive but smaller ones available.

Q: can i use a 30x30mm fc+esc stack?

Asked by EddrickBoddie on 2019-08-27 12:37:46

DelDredd Notreally as designed for 20mm stacks, the 30mm holes for the pillars and top plate and are in cross formation so your stack would be out by 45 degrees. would also limit prop size as would be very little clearance.
