Q: What is the extra servo socket for? Can you arrange that rudder on left stick operates a servo, left and right, on board, right stick operates elevator, up and down, on board and right stick operates aileron, left and right on the servo in the socket?

Laurie The extra socket is for a third servo, not used in the F949 plane. If you have a computer radio such as a Turnigy 9X or a Taranis with a multi protocol module you will be able to set up the servos to operate whichever control surface you want.

I bought three of these for the XK 130. After 3 hours of work installing them, I found that TWO of them had the case screws STRIPPED. I am SO incredibly disappointed. And fed up. I have to undo all the work and install something else at MY cost and time. Hate these stupid, useless things.

I was tremendously impressed with the impeccable quality of this small heli. I have been flying the V977 and have learned much and gained the skills to fly vigorously and confidently. I have not yet tried aerobatics and will do so on the 977 first. However, I have put in a short flight on the 950 and am very pleased and confident that I will get much pleasure from this helicopter. Five stars, five thumbs up. WL Toys is at the very top of best companies with excellent quality at affordable prices.
