There are well documented problems with this receiver having drop outs causing crashes. Just do a search on FS-A8S problems to discover the long threads detailing the issues.

I would like to review this transmitter, but I have not been able to bind my D8 Frsky receivers. I have gotten the Frsky MX+ to bind, but not the D8. Has anyone else been successful trying to get the Frsky D8 to bind?

Q: Has anyone been able to bind to a Frsky D8 receivers with this? The Frsky MX+ works fine, but no luck with the D8.

I purchased these as inexpensive 20Amp ESCs and they perform as expected. I removed the plastic connectors from each end and cut the excess circuit board material away to minimize the side for use on my 210 size quad. I purchased a couple extra because I expected to ruin one or two figuring out how to modify them for use. Purchased 10, 9 are fully functional after modifying them. I would purchase them again without hesitation.
