fredrock I would disregard the stated light output though I'd say it is pretty bright. My measurement indicates about 2 watts being drawn on a full charge which of course is nowhere near the 30 stated. The light comes on for 15 - 20 seconds when motion is detected and goes off if the motion stops. It is cheaply made but does the job and is fun for hacking. I got mine for just under a sawbuck and for the parts it's totally worth it. I modified it with a custom copper plate with two 1 watt white LEDs replacing the cob light. I put in two larger capacity 18650 (yes, there is room in the holder for two batteries though they're not balanced in charging - using similarly rated and measured batteries is a must) The so called water proofing is a joke so I coated the circuit board and connections with clear nail polish and cut a hole in a plastic bag and sealed it around the IR sensor. We'll see how long that does the trick. For the amount I paid, the parts are totally worth it but for this price, no-one should expect a commercial quality - like $80 unit.

GodzillaBuck Direct drive pulling major amp's using double coil FET's is how their claiming 25,000 lumen. It can do it. Only for about 1 second with any set of batteries that legit push 20+ steady amps. However expect between 16-18 thousand. If you don't understand how MANY people are building XHP 70.2 emitters and getting upwards of 8,000 lumen a piece, look into it. Not tugging your wee here.

KevinMirandaA The power of the LED is 50W, equivalent to a 15w LED bulb approximately. The battery is a 18650 1800mha approximately

wangyanyi Through the use of reflectors. However 25k is a bit carried away for such a small light, that thing must get really hot through over current of the 3 emitters,
