Deano69 if you're running 4500kv off road you might want to stick with a 2s LiPo, (7.4v). On road you can go to 3S without much bother. NiMh batteries are all out of ideas with this sort of equipment, LiPo is kinda if necessary you know. Just make sure you keep an eye on the temperature of the motor, too hot to touch means too hot to run.
